This week’s travel idea is a personal one.
As many of you know, my wife is from Croatia, and years ago we had the chance to visit together — and it’s a place that really stayed with us.
One of the highlights is Split, a coastal city built around a 1,700-year-old Roman palace. You can walk through the old stone streets, enjoy the waterfront, and simply take your time — it’s not a rushed kind of place.
And not far from there is Plitvice Lakes National Park, with its waterfalls and bright blue lakes. It’s one of those places that’s hard to describe until you see it for yourself.
If you enjoy travel that blends history, scenery, and a relaxed pace, Croatia is definitely worth considering.
