Who We Help
Who We Help
Retirement planning is not one size fits all. A healthcare professional with a 403b and a pension has a very different picture than a small business owner trying to figure out what their business is worth. A federal employee navigating TSP elections needs something different than someone who just lost a spouse and is managing finances on their own for the first time.
We work best when we understand exactly who we are sitting across from and what they are actually dealing with. That is why we have built our practice around specific audiences rather than trying to be everything to everyone.
If you see yourself in one of the groups below you are likely exactly who we work with.
Retiring Across Two States
You spend part of the year in Florida and part of the year up north. You want to make sure the financial side of that life is set up correctly, that you are getting the full benefit of Florida residency, and that someone who actually lives this life is in your corner. Willie does.
Retirees in the Tax Red Zone
You are somewhere between 55 and 73 and you have a growing sense that the decisions you make in the next few years around your retirement accounts, Social Security, and income strategy are going to matter more than anything you have done up to this point. You are right.
Small Business Owners
You have built something valuable. Now the question is what happens to it when you are ready to step back. Willie is a small business owner himself and he understands what it took to build what you have built and what it takes to turn it into a retirement that actually works.
Federal Government Employees
Your retirement benefits are among the most valuable available anywhere but they are also among the most complex. TSP decisions, FERS pension elections, survivor benefits, FEHB and Medicare coordination. We have worked with federal employees and we know what questions to ask.
Healthcare Professionals
You have spent your career taking care of other people. A late start on saving, multiple income streams, a 403b, maybe a pension, and a schedule that never left much room to sit down and think about your own financial future. We understand that picture and we know how to work with it.
Widows and Surviving Spouses
Losing a spouse changes everything including your financial picture. There is no rush and there is no pressure. When you are ready to get a clear picture of where you stand we are here and we will take it at whatever pace feels right for you.
Single and Divorced Individuals
You have been managing your financial life independently and you want to make sure your path to retirement is as strong as it can be. Whether you have always been on your own or you are rebuilding after a divorce, your retirement plan deserves the same care and attention as anyone else's.
Not Sure Which One fits?
That is completely fine. A lot of people do not fit neatly into one category and some fit into several. The first conversation is just about understanding where you are and what you are trying to figure out. We will take it from there.
